Can I choose the slab of material that is used for my countertop?
Quartz Products
No. Unlike natural granites of marbles Quartz countertops are very consistent.
The color of the slab will not change from one side to the other. There is no natural veining in quartz surfaces.
There may be some variation in the patterns or the size of the particles of color, but the difference will be slight.
Solid Surface Products
No. Being a man made material the control of the colors in each slab is very tight.
There may be small differences in shades or tones or particle sizes, but it will
be very slight and most often unnoticeable.
Real Wood Products
No. Most wood grains and tones are recognizable to the eye.
The variation that could occur with each countertop would be very slight.
Also some woods will change color as they age.
